the wife and i are going to be in vegas over the 4th. flying in wednesday evening and back out sunday.

i am staying at the luxor. i will have a decent amount of money with me.

what are the things i "have to do"?

note: not a huge gambler. if i sit down and play it'll be heavily weighed in that i am drinking for free at the time.
note 2: it doesn't need to be cheap, but i don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks on one thing unless it's really worth it.
note 3: am thinking about going to steel panther on saturday. because steel panther owns. and it's steel panther in vegas.

    aaaaaannd....go.

Hoover dam, it was a pretty cool place to visit.

And all the mexicans on the streets hand out cards with naked women all over them.

If your renting a car, go to the Pinball Museum. So much pinball, I blew an easy $50 there playing Pinball for 2 days.

Pen & teller show is awesome.

Don't do the 3 for the price of 1 deal...it blows. You will understand when you see it. Don't do the Paris tower.

Buffets in the old strip are super cheap and actually the best food...and no lines. (Main Street Station is the best IMO) Don't eat at Circus Circus...in fact just stay away from there, the place is a dump.

    The Aquarium is worth doing.

Walk the whole strip at some point.

Hoover Dam blows, they want $16-20/person just to go down below, just walk the top and listen to the tours if you feel so inclined. Place is full stupid people who will try to get run over by cars.

i wasn't much interested in things that took me outside of town anyway. i don't want to waste any of my time i'm there to see the stuff on the main drag.

circuis circuis i planned on avoiding anyway since i'll punch kids in the face when i'm drunk.

and i know it's going to be hot. i'll just have to deal with it, heh.

Drinking is stupid expensive there, so I just didn't drink. I don't drink anymore anyways, but I had planned on getting a little buzz going sometimes.

If you like Sushi, hit the Sushi buffet just a street off the strip. I think it was Todai off E Harmon. Price is resonable.

Just expect that every time you eat, its $30-$50/person for dinner, breakfast is usually around $20/person for buffet.

My wife and I just broke it up into 2 meals a day. Buffet for breakfast after 10, then a dinner somewhere.

Cosmo's buffet is by far the best on the strip.

I learned my lesson the hard way about those damn girly cards all over the streets getting handed out. The price on them is just what it takes to get them in your room. Then they want way more to actualy do anything. I refused to pay even more so I would of been better off spending that money in the casino.
