My company has been treating me like crap for the last 6 months or longer everyone is always trying to get someone fired and stabbing each other in the back. I caught wind that the 26 year old company hottie wanted me out because at 59 why does "grandpa need a job in tech support he is too old to know anything", I have been getting set up, passed over for promotions (yet asked to train the ones they promoted) I am terribly under paid I make just enough to pay my bills and nothing more my raise was A whopping 24 cents AN HOUR so needless to say I have been a recluse, bitter and depressed for awhile. I been praying for months for help. June 1st I get and email dated May 2oth from a company that found an old resume of mine online (in an email account I never use anymore and rarely check) the resume is from two jobs and two years ago, asking if I am still looking and they have a position I say sure, they send back an email that this job is less work than I am doing now and how they know I will not want it or I will take it and quit. Pissed I fire back an email what my requirements are to work including my salary and that if the money is right I really don't care about being tier two and not tier 3 tech support. They answer that there is a job in another dept that meets my requirements but it is still a step down but they will set but a phone interview in a week anyway. Two hours after the phone interview they send an email asking for a live interview stating they can do a "little better than the $17.00 - 19.00 an hour I am asking. (I am-making 13.51 now)Interview went well on the way to the elevator the man said "I hope no I KNOW I will see you soon" This morning at 8am I get a call from the company asking me if I will accept a straight salary position working 40 hours a week plus one Saturday a month for $53,900.00 (which is 25.91 an hour and in TN that's awesome money I actually asked him to repeat the salary, he did and I accepted. That was at 8 am I have thanked God today many times, but I am still in disbelief stunned. It finally starts to sink in about 3pm when the phone rings, its from a girl who used to work at the company I am with now she left a year ago. She tells me she is all excited she saw my name on her list. I am like "HUH?" she started working for that company a year ago she is tier three she got a list of 3 new hires that her team will be training and working directly with and she saw my name pulled my resume and saw I was the same guy she said, the reason the money was so high is the girl who was in charge of the department and her second in command interviewed me she, well the she (dept head) got let got yesterday he moved into her spot and picked me to fill his spot. So July 1st I start but I have to admit I am still in a slight state of disbelief, had to tell someone, so here I am and just to get it straight I honestly feel it was completely GOD'S doing because I had all but stopped trying hell I was almost suicidal over this crap. I just wanted to share my news with all my forum buddies, and I know that Brandon and a few others on here said a prayer for me so I just wanted to say thanks (Still stunned) Logan

Definately would be stopping by her desk and smiling. No need to say anything, a true deep hearted smile can cut deeper than most know. Especially when she has no clue about the relic stuff you created...lol

    Holy crap Logan.. 50+ daymn

Stop by her desk on your last walk out of the hole, and tell her the young people over at this hole can continue working for $14/hr while you make a mint.

Don't forget to mention she has nice teits for a young lady if she does...LOL.

Good deal on the new job man...

it always pays off to do your job and put in that extra push towards being the "right guy" in the company. i will say that i'm very lucky to be in the position i am in my company and am glad that i get to keep going with it.

glad to see another good guy out in the workforce. there are way too many pieces of crap that seem to get higher level/paying jobs for mysterious reasons unknown to those of us who hold a little intellect.
