You cannot leave the lipo plugged in either, even though the switch is off. It will still drain and go up in flames.
I always cut the on/off switch off, that way I have to unplug it.

So the same night(Tuesday) I got the steering servo in I broke a shock. No idea how. I ripped the little end that rotates clean off the shock shaft. Spring and hat were no where to be found. Haven't drove it since.

Ordered a LRP no motor limit brushed esc and twin hpi firebolt 15T motor for the twin detonator. Getting sick and tired of it sitting here and **** USPS for not giving me my castle brushless setup. LRP brushless setup is still on the truck but doesnt work so this is the cheapest option so I can drive it again and figure out why I cant configure the LRP gr. Atleast I can play again soon.

It doesnt calibrate the last step nor does the motor beep for conformation. Not sure if its because I have a nimh battery instead of lipo.

Hitec am 2 channel aggressor is the rx/tx

I wouldn't think it would be because of lack of Lipo. Never used a Hitec system, but I did have the problems your experiencing with a lrp sphere and a Traxxas tx system.
Borrowed a friends spektrum and it worked great. Might try a different radio system first.

You guys gonna get mad if I tell you I traded my RC boats for a low mile L67? Hadn't used them in forever.

As you can see.. there was some cleaning and work needed.

Guy had it listed as 400/trade for RC. The boats haven't been looked at or started in probably.. hell 13 years. One controller was in the box and it was broken.

Sure the motors on them have value, the hulls have value.. not to me though. I'm happy with an L67 instead.
