That is a nice bike but there is something about choppers that scare me just a little though.

Oh, damn. Almost forgot about this thread. lol

But yep, it isn't a full size bike. Just figured I would post it first and say nothing about it just to see what people would say.

I'll get some more pics eventually to show how big it really is.

yeah, I started mine out with a moped..........they got used to that so I got the GS300L....just told them it was a faster moped that allows me to go the speed limit. rode it to and from work on nice days...left it out on day while cleaning out my garage and my mom saw it and freaked. I explained to her that her car is faster than the bike and that its nothing for me to do something stupid on and they calmed down. then i bought the 900....they havent seen that one yet...lol

my parents were the same way...only they lost 3 friends in the pat 6months from bike wrecks...

I hate crotch rockets. Mainly because of the fact that the number of dumb asses riding them greatly outweighs the number of people who aren't.

I worked at a kawi dealership when I was 16, So parents expected I would have sport bikes. my first street bike was a suzuki katana 600 that I completely rebuilt, then I got the tl100r, then the zx-10r, and now the v-star and zx-14. I have been looking for another tl1000r just because it was crazy fast, awesome handling, and extremely loud. All the while my dad, god rest his soul, didn't care, he actually rode the tl1000r a couple of times, mom just shook her head each time I got a new one and didn't say much. So my parents were cool about it.

My boss is giving me his 1977 Goldwing GL-1000. It has been sitting for 3-4 years, so I'm going to have so work to do before I'm happy with it.

Figured I'd post some more pics of my bike since we just got it home today. I tried to get my car in the photo so there would be something to compare it to.
