So did you get it?
The Termies are ok in their own way. I don't like certain features in mine, like the distance from the seat to the shifter. I have to move the seat up until my knees are almost on the dashboard. The body of the car twists like a pretzel. I know that you will hear people blah blahing about the IRS in these cars, but in reality, you will get dusted off by the average 3rd gen F-body on a road course. The wheel hop is disgusting, but can be solved with some nice soft tires. Yes you can put in extra bracing, and poly bushings etc etc. I did all that, and when I was done, I got some nice tires and that fixed the problem. The stock Goodyears might be good to hold up a piece of glass in a living room for a coffee table, or as a bumper for the side of a yacht, but I don't think I ever want any more of them on my cars. The seats are very nice, and hold me very well. The transmission and driveline are excessively noisy to me. The engine is a piece of art. Some simple bolt ons and you will be running 115 mph in the 1/4. Add a pair of drag radials and you will be in the 11's. It hasn't been this easy since Pontiac made the TTA back in '89.
For the record - my 2000 GTP is my winter car...but I still love it.
