147.
Of course there was that one time coming back from Branson a few years ago I hit 171.I have picture proof from Coltrane's car trying to keep up.
Photoshop proof.
~F~
only 128 and the pcm kicked me down, first day i owned my red gtp too. be nice to go faster though...
same here the limiter kicks in at 126 on my 98 gtp i want to be rid of that and the traction control ... i hate the fact that when i turn it off it is still there (just less intrusive)
Could be wrong, but that doesn't sound right. Maybe mine is messed up. When I shut of my TCS it doesn't limit anything I do, or intrude in anyway.
lol X2 on signature pic.
and my Stock (except FWI) Computer shuts her down at 125 @ roughly 3000 rpms
Yeah...sorry...all our patrol cars are Impalas...just the one I did 140 in was one of the new ones (06/07) model. I wouldn't even consider taking one of the older ones (03 & 04 models - all of which have between 150,xxx and 200,xxx miles on them) anywhere near that fast!
109mph, car is stock
whats the highest speed limit on a highway in the states?
lol 200kph in 3rd on saturday wanted to see what my baby could do!(06 GP GT S/Cd) but forgot it was in 3rd not drive so i wouldve buried the needle @220kph with it in OD oh well theres always tomorow!!
154mph in a mostly stock 2001 GTP.... back in 2005. mph were still picking up...but it woud take a while. this was with an Intense tune. I dont recommend doing it on 18" wheels static balanced...... you get a nice back massage.
Yup Oklahoma has 75mph daytime and 65mph night time on the interstate highways. Texas has 70 daytime and 65night time.
They do? Ive never seen that around here and I was just on the Interstate heading to Oklahoma City not too long ago and I dont remember seeing anything like that.
I know Texas does, but I just dont recall ever seeing that around here in Oklahoma. I always chalked it up to one of those Weirdo Texas things. Kinda like thinking Texas is a better team than OU![]()
Yeah, I know 44 is 75, Ive just never seen any night time speed limits that were different than the daytime here in Oklahoma. The only place Ive ever seen such at thing was in Texas.
