i blatantly show interest and it always works for me.

then again i dont come off as a shy guy to women, but i know some girls think shy girls are adorable and mysterious and all that jazzzz.

nah. Just ask if you can take a picture to go along with the phone number that she just gave you. As your taking it, mention something about lining it up to be from the shoulders up and focused on her face.


But if you wanted to do some creeper recon, you get her name. Go to the public library. Use the computers there to google her name and her facebook page should show up. View the page, and do not log in.

Ha ha, ya ill see about the pics. I really think both are great but the the first one is just seems nicer. Either way ill go for it on thursday asking the one i talked to today for her #. and your right Schmidty i should have fun in college and date around and see which girls appeals to me the most. I will try and see which ever girl i talk to to get her #, i have to right now focus on my mid term since its worth a lot of points. And its going to be hell cause car teacher already told us after spring break when we start poetry we will have to present a poem in front of the class which being shy as i am, i will be nervous to do. Do you guys think i can mention this/ use this to get one of the girls #?

So ya it was nice i was able to talk to one, and since im now into the talking mode im going to try harder to atleast have one or both of them notice me in class. Like i mean after spring break they would acknowledge me by saying hi every meet or something. But ya i hope they say yes if i ask one of them for their #, i also dont have twitter and anything cause i dont like them at all. So the only communication is text for web or just talking face to face. So ya i hope to be able to do it and get their #, i can deffeintly start a convo on the cause they got androids and i got Iphone. I like making fun of them androids hehe.

Also thanks to all you guys for the support, it helps a lot and seeing i was able to talk to another girl. I hope to be able to talk to her more and if she notice me more too.

i wouldn't try and mention that you're shy to a girl along with getting a number.. shyness is a weakness id say and i don't think a girl would take fawned of it very much. but i've never been really shy or tried and use that to get a number. also, i wouldn't get all techy and nerdy with making fun of androids as a form of flirty/sarcastic whatever you wanna say cause if the girl isn't nerdy herself.. she won't find it funny.

also, i just got home from hanging out with a girl i didn't even know 10 days ago.. this is the one that i met the day before spring break happened... there is hope man.. you can do whatever you set your mind too and if you want something. just be yourself and have fun in these years. cause you only get a few of them.

Ya I think I won't mention that or about the phone but I will try to talk to one of them. I was choosing who but I think who ever I seem to be able to talk to. I'll go for it and try to ask for the #. I'm just thinking of why reason would it be for it? Should I say if they would like to hang out, or something for class and like what for class?

bro, this is turning into an ordeal. I don't know if this has been brought up yet, I only read the first few pages and the last page, but let me just say something. I think you're turning this into some huge issue that it shouldn't be. I know exactly what you're going through, I've been in the same situation plenty of times. But when I finally just got over it and treated it like no big deal, it really was no big deal. You talk to your friends right? Do you stay up all night worrying about how to approach them or if there are certain rules about asking them to hang out and such? No, because that would be silly. They're your friends and they dont care how you go about things. Its the same with girls. It doesn't matter when you ask for a number, when you ask to hang out, or why. If shes interested in the slightest, she wont look the other way because you asked for her number after 3 dates/hang outs instead of 4 etc... It makes things a lot easier to just be straight foward enough and avoid making things overly complicated. If she asks why you need her number (which no girl will ever ask if they think you're cute/nice/whatever) just tell her exactly why. Ex. "I might need to call you for help", "so we could maybe get together sometime". Something along those lines you know? The point is, that its not a big deal unless you make it one. Girls are people too, no reason to treat them like some unobtainable thing. Being friendly will get you far.

Also one other point, I see you already found a different girl to consider. Thats a good thing. This might take some time to get used to, but you said you noticed her looking at you sometimes. Thats a good observation, and its also good to know that while chasing girls is fun and is definitely worth the effort sometimes, theres also a flip side to that. I've found that if its a large enough setting like a mall or your campus for example, there will almost always AT LEAST be one person who notices you. Then make your move. Its good practice to be on the other side of things sometimes. Learn how to flirt, talk, maybe wait until they ask you to do something. You be the person that they want to hang out with and talk to. It really helps to kind of see what its like from the perspective of the girl you find attractive. Good Luck man, practice makes perfect.

Seriously.. do not wait until after break. Test or no test, asking for a number is a couple of minutes that you can afford. Then chat with her a little via the number and setup the date for right after break.

The one I met this weekend that didn't seem so interested, then her friend gave me her number. I texted on Tuesday, at first I heard back immediately, then I didn't see her response until the next morning. She had responded about 3 hours later. Said she was at dinner with friends sorry etc. I replied back the next day saying about the same. I was out to dinner with a er uh.. friend I recently met. Asked her about Thursday night, she's checking today if she can swing it. If not..I'll explain that Drunkie is here this weekend and how about next week or weekend. If she says no, it's no and I'll move on w/o looking back. Things are that easy.

I always ask to be friends on Facebook before anything.
