honestly u cant go wrong with either car man, both are badass, just if u get a cobra dont get a gay ass convertible haha
EDIT: boom http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ctd/3491230584.html
For some reason around here verts are easier to find and usually less expensive for whatever reason.
He's looking for something with balls, you know a mans car. The fusion is NOT a mans car and slower than a GTP.
2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid Road Test - Review - Car and DriverThe previous model got to 60 mph in a respectable 8.5 seconds on its way to a 16.5-second quarter-mile run. The new car drops about a half-second in both measures (9.1 and 17.0 seconds, respectively
Eddie won't say it cause he's a nice guy, but I am an asshole and I don't care. Get the **** out of this thread with that hippie loving slow sh1t. Make a manly 2 door recommendation or GTFO.

Quit calling them "termis."
If i were in your shoes I'd save for a house. Prices are going to go nowhere but up. I lost my ass on my 03. Nothing but headaches and heartache.
Ws6 T/A.
Do eeeeeeeet.
Pure Sex.
Like I said GTO>Fbody
Interior is worlds better, and its overall a better car. WS6 T/A's or atleast clean ones are almost in GTO price territory around here. I got rid of my 00 SS and almost got a 03 Cobra but some douche picked it up during the weekdays at the dealer.

He's 18 no need to worry about saving for a house right now in a few years, yea you'll want to possibly. Plus it depends on if you don't mind leaving where you are etc. No need to achieve grown up **** just yet.. Gto > cobra > Fbody
For a house.
The way I look at it (and I'm 19) is that I'll just sell the toy once I need a down payment for a house when I have a real job. Just don't over pay for it and don't put a sh*t ton of cash into it that you'll never see again.
I wouldn't say that you shouldn't keep your future financials in the back of your mind. Just have a plan of what you'd do in a bad situation. Although I can't talk from experience.
I feel you and it's why I have a Mustang now. I wanted a manual and a rwd setup, so I said to hell with it and got what I wanted for once in my life. I've never been able to pick a model, let alone a color of any car I've owned. Now I have. I custom ordered my baby and I'm keeping her barring some life changing event.
In your shoes, I'd go Cobra just for the sheer bang for the buck. Besides, nothing sounds quite as aggressive as a supercharger whining. I love the GTOs too, but I see no reason to fall into the LS1s if you can have an LS2. Fbodys... Love the Firebird look and I've driven two '98-02 Camaros, but I've never found riding in one to be comfortable. Working on the engine, if need be, will NOT be fun.
My cobra payment was 421/month. You can buy a decent house for that or less.
I'm speaking from personal experience. Go buy your car, have fun with it. Your priorities will change eventually.
On a side note my best friend is a huge GM nutswinger. He had an 05 gto and a c4 vette. He was talking his smack and I calmly turned and informed him that my little 281ci engine on pump gas made more than both his 5.7 and 6.0 combined.
I dont mind living at home I have a good family and a nice 2 car garage that me and my dad use, I do alot of helping out and live in a nice neighborhood so for me there's not point of leaving just yet at 18. But I do understand where you guys are coming from. Thanks for the advice and keep it coming![]()
Not trying to sway you into the house again, but you wouldn't have to live in it. investment purposes. I live in canada and i've been checking out properties in cali and arizona. I'm 19.
but back to the car. The cobras imo looks the best, handles the best, and is the fastest stock, and fastest with cheap mods by a fair margin. So If you have the money, I'd go for the cobra. But where I live I could find a decent ls1 f-body for around $8k. So If in theory I could add $8k in mods to the f-body and have quite the beast as well.
Having a badass car and living with Mom and Dad or having a reasonable car and living on your own? Personally, I always chose the latter. Having a cool car isn't so awesome when you have to take your date back home where mom and dad are. Gotta be independent at some point in time and 18 is the best time to start thinking about it. Regardless, you are going to be stuck with the car you choose for the next couple of years. It also may hinder you financially from finally growing a pair and moving out. Especially working at a body shop where most end up working paycheck to paycheck.
