Its nice to see this actually happening and glad they went this route. One thing that bothers me is the Hyme joints though unless they are greasable ones. A lot of race cars' supsensions use these and they are a great swivel that eliminates slop BUT they do wear out, cause clunks and bangs and make noises due to every day wear. If anyone has heard my Cutlass go over bumps making noise in the rear end..... that is the noise-worn hyme joints as they arent exactly meant for every day street use and the upper control arms I am using that have these are dubbed as race only parts not meant for street use. I have had them on my car since mid 99, so they are definately getting old and tired! At least they are not hard to change and they should consider selling just replacement hyme joints in these scenarios but again is a great swivel to use and will eliminate flex and will keep everything in line much better.

I'm glad as well, cause I believe the Toe-in on acceleration is cause for some of our transmission failures, both CV axles jamming in at the same time can't be good for the trans...

My thoughts exactly when I saw these!! Plus I don't want to feel every pebble and crack in the road.

That is another big concern, there WILL be more road feel, especially with larger diameter wheels and rubber-band tires that take out the cushion. I have seen a few different style hyme joints but never anything with a dust boot. Its basically a ball bearing with a bolt hole in it that is exposed to everything, so greasable or not without something covering it up there is going to be garbage getting into it over time and I would imaging being on the front suspension and near the axles there will be a lot of road junk being constantly thrown or sprayed directly on the joints.

The tripot joint slides in and out to account for anything like this. The transmission is none the wiser, but it may cause premature wear on the tripot joints after time causing axle failure.
