Since most police/guards shoot glocks anyways, buy a .40 glock and get a .22lr conversion for it. You just swap the slide along with the barrel all in under a minute. Super cheap ammo for training will get you more time behind the gun. Like mentioned above I shoot my 1911-22 the most and really it's not as huge a difference from the 1911 .45 as one might think. It's more being familiar with the gun itself and all it's features. Ammo prices for 22 is about .04, 9mm .22, .40 was about .33 last I checked(I don't own one), and .45 is at least .40 a round but usually higher. Or just buy one of every caliber since the more guns the better![]()
