I've heard the suspension isn't that great on them. Can't quite remember why or what the main issue was.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat if the wife/pockebook would allow it.

Oh ha yea the door locks are fun but not having an inside lock does suck. IRS is a good suspension when done right. Fortunately the aftermarket has a plethora of options. As for the evap code. My gas cap is already stripped and popping that code. It was under recall if I remember right.

My 06 has an inside door lock. 06 was the only year to have it. The suspension issue is that the inside of the tires rub the outside of the strut, this has been a known problem, so i ur gonna get one suspension should be the first thing you do, also removing the engine covers as the cover wears through the plastic gas line underneath

Which struts rub? My fronts rub. Could be the +35 offset though.

The reason why they have strut rub is because how they were tied down to the ship when they came over to the US!
All the GTO were tied down without any alowable movement to the suspension so the front upper strut mounts collapsed.
My GTO has on 3,065 miles and it has no issues since its like a new car and extremely well built. BTW its for sale in this forum.

Thanks for the input guys. Sounds like a GTO is a pretty good car to have. Good possibility that I will get one in the near future.
