Lulz, I love this forum, I really do. I agree with Bio though. There is more hate for other car makes on this forum than almost any other forum I'm on.

Go to a jeep forum. This place isn't even close being as bad as those jeep guys are.

Pissed off bumble bee is an acquired taste. I've heard all kinds of 4 cylinder builds. Not a single one has appealed to me.

    Wait i lied. I have friend with a cammed ls1 cavalier...or no that's a v8 in a small body lol.

Not hating just not appealing me.

dont be looking at GM 4 cylinders for reliability, just dont. From what ive seen theres lots of little stuff that goes wrong with the cobalts too. I'd get the SC one because they are fun as hell to drive and get good gas mileage (compared to a GP at least). They also have a unique sound for a 4 cylinder. If you want areliable DD then just get an Si or something.

    What.

    Goes wrong.

    With Cobalts.

    Enlighten me.

Probably the MOST reliable car I've ever owned.

Which is why I bought another one.

Idc for the ecotech engines. Power steering is electronic so when the sensor goes bad its equivalent to driving with no ps fluid. All tha to save up 5hp and maybe 2 mpgs? And the internal oil filters are not my favorite. Great intentions but I'll pass. Engines r reliable but no thanks

Internal oil filter is easy to take care of, change it often...it's no different than an external.

Power steering was recalled for sensor issues, but GM fixes it for free and...driving a car that small isn't hard without power steering.

I gotta agree with nick. My buddies girlfriends ps went out and it was hilarious to watch her try and turn the wheel at a dead stop but they are good engines. ALOT better than the 3.6 engines Imo

First time I drove my friends the shifter boot came off.

As for the engines im more talking about the 4 cylinders before the cobalts. Grand ams, sunfires, cavaliers, ect.
