    Urban Dictionary: Ricer

    Well... are you?
I like number 2 and number 4. And no I am definatly Not a ricer.

    2. Ricer 485 up, 48 down
    Ricer =

usually 16-24 years old, that spend more money untastefully modding a car, than its even worth. e.g humongous aluminum/fiberglass spoiler, cheap, oversized fiberglass bodykit, "clear" rear lights, obnoxious exhaust and oversized exhaust tip, 500 sponsor decals/stickers of performance parts they dont even own, flame vinyls/paint, etc etc

    4. ricer 1266 up, 228 down
any person who spends more money to make their car look like it goes fast than they spend on actually making it go fast.

Usually people who try to get into the import tuning scene after watching the fast and the furious a few too many times. Not necessarily anyone who goes and buys a bodykit, because a few of those actually do decrease drag, increase cooling, etc., like veilside and stuff, just crappy ripoffs that dont do a damn thing except maybe increase downforce, but if you have a FWD car, a spoiler is just gonna make you go slower. Also, if you have any idea how cars work, you'd realize that there really is no point in making a car look fast if it cant go fast, and if you dont understand how cars work, or dont care, you have no business even pretending to be a part of the tuner scene.
Billy and Bobby both have 6000 to spend on their car. Billy invests it in suspension and engine work, and Bobby buys a "sick" body kit, and some "tight" rims. So, Billy has a fast car that will surprise anyone wanting to race it, and bobby is hitching a ride back home, because his "sick" body kit blocked all air to the engine.
    Can you spot the ricer?

I was borderline ricer back in 02-04. These days I prefer sleeper status.

    I'm a ricer. I don't have a STi, it's just a 2001 Hyundai Accent with a body kit.

Funny how much a 2001 Accent with a body kit looks like a cheep STI.

i wish i gotta pic of this car today, this guy who was probably like 19-20 came up in a 90-93 white Toyota Celica with a horrible black thick stripe that was not even straight, white and blue interior with a white carpet that was all dirty, 18" rims on coil overs one was bent, cracked body kit, and when he opened the hood you see a dirty engine with a chrome pep boys HAI, and it was an automatic! lol then he says i only paid $2000 for it. he shut it off and let it sit for a while then when he went back out he thought his battery died but turns out his starter broke. that car screamed fried rice lol. i did feel a lil bad for him though

Hyundai made one with a factory "appearance package" that even had a fake hood scoop.

I prefer sleeper. The only exterior mods I have planned are projectors, grills, and inlays.

Wait, what is that up front peeking through the grill? That surely isn't an intercooler.

i have a little rice in me still. i had a cavalier with a big body kit and some rims, but the huge exector set wing. It was quick for a 4 banger. I miss it slightly...

The only non-ricers on this site are the few ladies registered- And I don't mean you girly boys.
