hmm i remember about 5 years ago there was a group at my highschool dedicated to kony, they called the group invisible children.. no one cared at the time, now those same people are super activists.

I am yet to see a charity that contibutes more than 50% of their "income" towards the cause, so its not an issue. Hell, US government likes to throw our money away....

Yeah after posting this I held out on "donating" He got the attention he wanted about probably doubled the income of donations with that little film...we just made that guy a millionaire since Non-profit organizations in this country seem to get to run away with anything.
We just paid for his kids college education.
On the other hand, this kind of situation in Africa has been brought to my attention since I was in Middle School in 1998, so at the same time it sucks it is happening but we also have a bigger problem with Iran/Israeli wanting to start a nuclear holocaust.

How about the U.S. take care of its own problems first like oh I don't know the illegal human trafficking trade. The one that steals young girls And women out of their homes and the streets to force into sexual slave labor in the U.S. and across the border. The same trade that helps fund international drug lords and gangs l, some of which are making war with one another And disrupting every day civilian life.
Oh wait that's right its not as important as an issue across the sea. Its just our own Americans being put in this situation.
Help our own damn people first. Improve upon our economy, work with our younger generations so that our current problems will be a thing of the past. And when the U.S is finally back on two stable legs we can the.....STILL MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS BECAUSE THIS IS A JOB FOR THE F-ING UNITED NATIONS.

Yeah I guess you guys should either stop taking care of other countrie's problems or just rename your armies to "world police" or something that makes more sense.
