The 6G72 in the Lebaron is actually pretty different than the 6G72 found in 3/S's. Even the SOHC in the 3/s is different than that in the Chryslers that came with the 3.0. But the SOHC can some some major negligence whereas the DOHC seems to be more picky. Something most point to an improper oiling set up because its almost always #6 rod bearing that spins.
