This may seem lame but currently am having a pissing match with this guy on YouTube who thinks his 180whp Honda CRX can beat a GTP...... -_- just....no... He says the GTP is slow and that he beat a modded GTP, seriously? Has this ricer like the Vtec get to his head?

If he doesn't believe you then tell him to get some numbers to compare with. Real ones too, not ones that he pulled out of his @ss. Get some yourself too, and be prepared to show him where you got them....getting the same numbers in more than one place wouldn't be a bad idea either.
People can have battles with words all day but factual numbers are where the truth lies.

    -Edit-
Just looked the specs of those up on wiki and wow....yea, a 1.6L I4 with 108HP. Even with the EU version it's still only 150 out of a 1.6L I4.
If hes getting 180 to the wheels he's gotta be heavily modded and then some.

A 180WHP CRX is low 13/high 12 second car. They only weigh like 2000lbs.

No, thats 1/4. A 180hp CRX has a power to weight ratio of 180/2100=.0857. A modded GTP lets say makes 240hp. 240/3500= .0686. Its simple physics. That Civic would beat a lot of cars.

Could a CRX get 180 to the wheels though?

Easily. Honda swaps are crazy easy. Hell just swapping a B18C from an Integra Type R will put it around 160 whp with no other mods. Throw some mods at it like cams, header, etc and its easily at 180whp.

Why do people still blow money on Grand prix's? Its just a dead brand now anyways....

Cars from older era's 1980s/early 90s can afford some interesting opportunities, why? because they tend to be filled with less government garbage and electronics. Now why would you want that? Because less work and easy for any combination of swaps you could possibly dream up, best of all you aren't even coming close to breaking the bank.

THANK YOU. Some one got it.

There is a CRX running around this town with an F22c swap or something and he's doing 220whp N/A and his car weighs in at 1800lbs...its a lethal combination really.

If thats not his car, that video doesn't mean sh!t.

Get over it kid, his car is faster than yours. Whining about it over the internet and trying to find videos of other cars beating other cars isn't proving anything.

Not to mention if that GTP isn't YOUR car it doesn't mean sh*t. The guy that does own that GTP is a member here I believe.
