once i get out of the military in a couple months ill be looking into the same thing, and ill be in iowa. i did look at UTI, but tuition is a little expensive, and the GI bill is great, but not that great. Ive been looking at DMACC, their autos progam looks pretty sweet, you spend half your time in the classrooms, and half your time at a local dealership as an intern. they have programs for Ford, GM, and Dodge. please dont ask what progam ill be selecting, because it should be painfully obvious.

That's a good idea. Just work your way up. That may work better for me.

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Yeah it was a good all around school. The town sucked! 5 hour classes a day. Monday thru Thursday. Same class 6 weeks straight. I had an old friend go to a community college 20 minutes from my house and he took the same classes I did and was out and graduated in 7 months for about 7k. He already works at a dealership bringing 19/ hour home and he's 20
