WOW! I wonder how many people actually own one of those things...![]()
I dunno, I think Reptile has one in his car.
There are those morons out there that do it. When I was in school, had a boy fill up his S-10 with diesel. And then about a month or so ago, had a dumba$$ fill on of our military trucks with about 120 gal of regular gas.
That's as bad as smoking while pumping gas in 100+ degree weather... No, actually it's still worse... Putting gasoline in a diesel engine would definitely mess something up... There's no guarantee that you would cause a fire smoking and pumping gas at the same time... But I'm not taking any chances...![]()
sometimes its easy to do...most diesel pump handles are green and at BP stations(i think thats the one) the handle on all of their pumps are green so it makes it easier to make that mistake if ur used to just grabbing for the green handle
Ok. ONE time I grabbed the wrong handle. BUT, all our cars take 91 so I have to pay attention eventually to select my Grade. The Diesel nozzle Wouldn't FIT in my car. I still woulda figured it out.
Shut up Scotty!!
That's the trick, the size of the nozzle and whether it can touch all of the contacts.
