I traveled to riften yesterday, took me roughly lil under 2 hours with all the distraction lol.
found a spider lair, stabbed some lil ones in the face.

didnt take to long to find the ginat frostbite spider, luckily i had potions or i woulda died 3-5 hits..

looted the lair/dungeoun went back out to keep travelin to riften found someone magic dude, killed him and took his lil camp lol he wasnt nice anyways.

then this dude came and tried to rob me.. stabbed hims so good had to kick him off my blade.

so keeping to the path to riften, wolf come out of no where and tries to chew my face..

night time has gone morning comes and almost there, time to look at the scenery.

after almost 2 hours im there!

then some dude runs up(a thief)give me this giant ice axe, tell me too kep it and he will come back for it and if i dont have it i die, so killed him(sorry no pic) but then like 2 minutes later some other dude asks if i saw a thief run by, i told him "he went that direction" then killed him before he found out i has his axe.
    .
and that was my amazing travels. hope you enjoyed lols

I've been playing it about every night. I'm about to hit 30 hours, level 25, and I've killed lots of dragons. Been working on the main campaign, finished the Stormcloaks, and working on the Companions. I'm just a traditional heavy armor, sword/shield tank. Full Dwarven equipment, trying to get my blacksmithing skill up so I can use all of the dragon scales/bones to make some baddass armor. I haven't free roamed much other than raiding the occasional bandit camp or killing a dragon when spotted.

    Its the same.

When I started playing ME2 someone told me i should play the first before the second.

Stopped and did that. Despite the massive change in gameplay, it was still worth while game to play.

I realize there is no story connection here, but the same point applies.

do play oblivion just for the story. its gonna be nice for you to see the transition, especially if youre gonna get into the lore a bit.

Enchanting seems very easy to level up as well.

Hit up the gold mine, make 80-100 gold rings and have at it.

ok the way you can ANY house for free, go talk to whomever is selling the house NEAR A STORAGE(cabinet, dresser ,endtable, chest, etc etc) and when you accept. before he finishes talking, throw all your money into the storage, when he is done talking he has accepted the deal but has no money to take from you, simply go into the storage take your money and BAM house for free lmao, works great! remember to save before trying this!

works great on getting furniture for your house also!

I spent a good 45 minutes getting my smithing to 100 last night. Lots of money spent to get there but its worth the neato dragon armor. I had enough bones/scales to make 4 whole sets of armor. So I made a bunch of money back just from that.
