This is a thread about issues that are making life miserable for the 99% in this country, and you're here to derail it and go off on your own little tangents about how your lives are so great. YOU DONT SEE THE ISSUE.

You clearly know nothing about how the system has failed us all. Take your pro-1% propaganda elsewhere.

Ugh, I swear, as if everyone receiving government benefits doesn't need it.

There are people out there who don't have any kind of degree nor can afford to go to college to get a degree without help from the government. There are also those same people who have a wife and kids. There are people who HAVE been trying to find jobs for the last 5-10 years, and the only thing they can get hired in is to work night shifts at gas stations to support his family.

Talk about laziness, ****ing working night shifts for the past 5 years to support a family, working his ass off at a gas station barely making any money just to support his family. Where the hell would he be without government aid? Out on the ****ing streets him and his family.

And on top of that people that having the Welfare organization give you the hardest ****ing time every month, because the worker there doesn't seem to know how it feels to be barely making money, and barely being able to pay bills.

    Ugh.

Keep blaming it on laziness or choice. Some people can't choose to be rich because they decided one day "I am going to be rich."

    Frustrating as ****, I swear.

Your an idiot. You also probably pay MORE taxes than them too.

    C. They lobby and get laws and provisions passed to make themselves richer at the cost of ruining our country.

And to PENALIZE the rich for doing well for themselves is the stupidest idea ever. Guess who supplies the jobs? Thats right, the rich. Tax them more, and jobs will go away.
You obviously don't know what you are talking about. Look up the tax breaks that top 1/2% of people in this country are getting. Then take those tax breaks and compare them to the middle class. Jeeze even Warren Buffet knows its wrong!

I know people who make 6 figures and are taxed 50% of their income. I'll take their word over some guy on the internet anyday.

The media really has brainwashed people today.

So wait are the people who make 6 figures in the top 1/2%? Lol

I am not talking about Joe Blow that makes under $250K a year. The plan is to take the tax breaks BACK from the people who makes more than $250K. Some idiots want to say its a tax increase, its not! Its just letting the tax breaks expire.

I am sure your friends may be getting taxed that much. That is because they are in a higher tax bracket but not high enough to get the tax breaks for people who make over $250K.

Its not Socialism. Anyone who says that is an uneducated moron who doesn't actually read.

the rich if smart dont pay as much as you think in taxes, if they are smart they invest in high risk stock, if 75% of you money is working they cant tax it. and those in the know, know what is a safe risk.

the stock market is also one very fvcked up scam, buy the option, sell the options, wtf, make money with out even owning the stock. another reason the economy is failing.

And the people who make over $250k are still paying the majority of the taxes.

Thats just one of a number of articles than can be found that completely blow the notion that the rich don't pay enough out of the water.

years ago i had a friend who said, all they want to make is 50,000 a year some day,(that was their goal) i was like i make that, and its not a lot of money, take home was like 800 a week,( i got a refund every year too) nice money but not a lot by any means, 100,000 is only like 1600 or so a week, still nice but not a lot of money at the end of the day.

if you hit the 200,000 mark now that's some nice dough. nothing like making a months salary in 1 week.

but still the more you make the more you will pay, until you get to loop hole status.

and lets not forget the luxury tax, anything over priced because its real nice, has a higher tax on it. big RV's, big boats, well ships, and fancy cars.

First off that article is from 2007. Second off, Goggling something doesn't prove its correct. If you have multiple and CURRENT sources for information I would see your point.

The main point I am trying to make is that the middle and upper middle class pay MORE taxes (Per income percentage) than any other bracket.

Take your article from above and now apply it to the below table:

National Taxpayers Union - Who Pays Income Taxes?

Now what do you consider rich?

How much you can live on depends on if you can live within your means. I'll make about $32k this year. That may not sound like a lot to some people but to me it works out well. If I did't dig myself into a debt hole some years ago I'd be putting about $600 a month into savings with my earnings.

And I put myself into the hole so I am digging myself out, not asking for government help to do so.

of course you all know there is only so much money in the whole world right? we dont just print more when we need it, the new money replaces the old worn out money, the old is burned.

i saw this article a while back, where it broke down how much money there is total, and how many people there are world wide, and if they took all the money and split it equally among every man woman and child, you would have a grand total of 22 dollars each.

hows that for spreading it thin.

If you really want a job join the military, food, healthcare, and a paycheck. And you won't be on your ass! But I will admit there are some people in the country that do need help and im more than willing to help them out. Its just the other 90% that abuse the system and when they cannot afford there crack or BMW must ***** at the system.

And I believe you started this thread..... So we have every right to say what we wish here on the subject.

That can't be right as there $908 billion just in US currency. Thats just in printed cash, coins etc. That doesn't include money the Fed can't track. That alone would translate to $129 each person right there. Then you add all the other world currency.

so true, i pack a lunch every day, i cant afford to waste 10 bucks on lunch every day when i can buy cold cuts, and make my own lunch for 10 bucks for the week.

thats 50 a week in lunch, or 40 a month, you do the math there. i cut corners where ever i can. cook dinner at home, dont go out a whole lot, quitting drinking 10 years ago helps too, my bar bills were up to 300 a weekend for me and the ex. oh my god i forgot my coke bill, up to 400 a weekend at one point for me and the ex, holy chit i wasted a lot of money back in the day. the 90's were a real b1tch!

and you would be happy with 129 bucks? this is all you have. you dont have a job either, because your boss only has 129 bucks, so his business is closed now, that type of stuff would ruin the the world for sure.

there are a lot of people in the world. and im not quoting the ad i saw, im going off memory. but it was a small amount of money, like 20 a head. could you imagine if that happened, and your the rich guy, and now, heres your 20 bucks lol

every government knows how much money has been printed, and how much is "out there" if its hidden in this scenario its still split up there is no hiding it.
