Using tapshift to downshift to avoid crashing into a deer is annoying - just an extra step, half a second that could save your life. The extra few bucks for a tapshift trans is also a pity. You'll also have to replace the LIM gasket, because it's not aluminum.
Mine looks higher than GT's or other models. I believe there's a thread somewhere that confirms the Comp G. suspension as riding higher too.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they switch to aluminum in 05? So it could be aluminum?

You might not have the stock compg suspension, then. CompG sits a good inch and to two inches lower than base model.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

comp g gets 3.29 gearing, HUD,(tells me when to shift) Tap-shift, stabalitrac sport 2 upgraded steering that varies effort levels in response to cornering forces (in addition to vehicle speed), red brake calipers firmer suspension tuning, stickier V-rated BF Goodrich tires, claimed cornering limit of 0.83 g. 260 hb 280lb tourqe, easy mods, easy tire rotation, (unlike the wider rim and shorter axle of the gxp cant rotate front to back, which a wider tire would also help the comp g) GXP 303 at 5600 rpm) and a lot more torque (323 pound-feet at ) simular to the numbers of the concept car 1997 300 gpx (GPX bursts with 335 pound-feet of torque at only 3500 rpm 300 hp GPX is exaggerated by its Mississippi-wide P255/40ZR18 tires, has kept all four discs, with big 11.9-inch rotors in front and 11.5 in the rear

What do they go for these days with appropriate mileage?

As for those monster GXPs, they get truck-like fuel ecnomy from what i've read. There should have been a gen-7 GXP coupe.

It's not an inch to two inches lower...if it is...yikes. I haven't heard of a comp G that is missing any of the "upgrades" either

Most of that's true there, however some have black calipers instead of red. and is that 323 lb ft reference to the comp g? If so that ain't right.
