Damn, can't believe you haven't seen SoLo.
Give me a minute. I'll post up some pictures.
WOW! I dont no what to say other then F*&$ing BADASS! thats officially the best pontiac i have ever seen and in the best color ever! wow im spechless!
why why why o why didnt somebody buy it and save her or atleast a musuem![]()
whats the whole story to it?
That was one of the first GTX's made back when Thrasher was working with Pontiac. They used it for publicity and to submit to magazines. I'm fairly sure either Thrasher still owns it, or Pontiac got a hold of it somehow.
In either case it would be nice to find out becuase Pontiac and Thrasher both have a history of crushing these cars.
(sighs) ahhhhh the solo gp. thats the car that inspired me to do that to the front of my car. WAIT, WOAH, WHAT??!! did i just over read that they crushed the solo gp? wtf would they do that?? who did that car anyway chip foose?? oh btw, does anyone have info on the solo gp or a website or anything?? (what stuff was done to it, and the specs and what not??
jeez i love that thing. (i gotta say though, im not wild about our superchargers though. im not into the whine sound. i like the turbo sound better. sounds like a jet exiting)
all turbo cars sound the same. not many people have the blower whine.
and besides, nothing beats a 2.55 on a plugged up (silencing holes) m90.
my favorite part of the solo was the rolldown rear windows, thats ****ing titties.
what the heck is silenceing holes??? and do they limit performance. what about the sound of a whippleuhhh they sound like pure power..
the blower outlet has two slots on the side of the main outlet that were meant to recycle pulses from the rotors to keep the noise down. if you seal these off, the blower gets louder and there is no more recycling of hot air.
