I joined back in 08, enlisted in the army as a cavalryman (19D cavalry scout). I got orders for the 2d cavalry regiment (dragoons), which is at Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany. I was deployed to Afghanistan June 2010 to May 2011. Spent 3 months of the deployment rolling around the Spin Boldak district in our Strykers... then we relocated up to one of the subdistricts of Kandahar City dismounting through villages and orchards. Now im currently a Specialist (E-4), still in Germany (I miss my car) and I ETS in 4 months.

I did a 6 year enlistment with the Airforce. I was an E5 when I got out, but the list for who got E6 had just come out and I was on it...oh well. Went to Iraq 3 times (Kirkuk twice, Balad once)...somtimes wish I had stayed in. Most days I'm glad I got out. Wouldn't take a day of it back though, I'm glad I served.



EDIT: My brother is serving right now as an MP in the Army. He is currently in Afghanistan, but stationed in Alaska. He doesn't really care for Alaska though, and he is now in his 2nd year of his 4 year enlistment.

I will be serving after i complete ROTC for the Army

My boyfriend just got back from Kuwait after doing a year, he is Army, SPC in 182nd Field Artillary.

And the only thing Becca has ever served is sammichez!

currently utah army national guard paralegal for the 1/211th arb. the sad part today were supposed to be going to ft hood for our mob station but 3 weeks ago we got "off ramped" from our deployment so now were expected to go oct 2012 than afghan 2013

USMC 0311/0351. Deploying in December for a MEU so hopefully they bump us to Afghanistan

E-5 SGT, About to go to Warrant school after this.

Active duty Army, 15 yrs, SSG/E6, 31B military police, currently on my 2nd tour of korea, been to iraq twice. OIF 06-08 and Operation Desert Fox in 98. Been to Kosovo as well.

Army, 5yrs. just got out. Deployed to Iraq twice totaling 2 yrs, 3 months in that ****hole. i was a Sgt and i was a 12b (combat engineer) i do NOT miss the Army but i think of my soldiers often.
