Can anyone tell me if the 1998 Grand Prix Daytona Pace Car Replica with a sunroof option had the sunroof option listed on their window sticker?

    This is extremely important.

I think I might have found something................

    Here is the problem.

Pontiac made 1500 Daytona Pace Car Replica in 1998.

    Mine is #704 of 1500.

According to GM, they made 1499 cars with the Gulf Blue paint job (available only on the pace car replica).

This means one car is missing...

My original window sticker (looking at it now) does not show a sunroof being an option on my car, but it has a factory installed Sunroof. The option it does show is "Overhead Console."

Due to the discrepancy in the paperwork it seems mine is the missing car because of it's invoice not matching the build sheet, unless all the sunroof cars were invoiced this way.

I need to see another window sticker from a 1998 Grand Prix Pace Car Replica to see it is different than mine.

If so, it is now a 1 of 1 instead of a 1 of 200(Pace Cars with a sunroof)....

    Do you understand?

The window sticker shows a center console installed. This is also backed up by the SPID sticker on inside trunk lid.

The car has a factory installed sun roof (have sunroof owners manual, came with car manual).

It is Blue (just like all the other 1499), but this one will not pull up in the Pontiac database as a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix Daytona Pace car due to the conflicting information from the build sheet and the invoice to the dealer/GM sale documents.

When the report was ran in 1998, it was broke out by Sunroof/Non-Sunroof. There totals were 199 sr/1300 non-sr. This led to them reporting 1499 cars with the Gulf Blue paint job in their report.

Accourding to Pontiac, my car does not exist as anything other than a stock GTP, but it has all the MF codings for exactly what it is minus the sunroof. This includes all Daytona Pace Car options (including paint color).

That is why I need to speak with someone with a 1998 Grand Prix Daytona Pace car with a sunroof. I need to compare codes with them.

Did that, it reads exactly as the window sticker and Pontiac's sales documentation, but it does not match the build sheet which states the car is a sunroof car.
