Besides hauling ass, LOL, I like that post on page 1.

I have hauled a hundred pounds or so of pot in the trunk on my way back from Branson, MO last year.

There is a local member who does a lot of bad ass home projects, and this is his "hillbilly hauler" as he likes to call it. This is stuff for a deck he built.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd, then there is THIS guy...

I filled my 2000 GT full of everything I could fit and moved from Omaha, NE to Fairbanks, AK. I think when I had it weighed it was around 1200 or 1500lb.

i packed 15 people into a 77 vw rabbit, had the hatch open, legs and feet hanging over the back. lol

but it was a vw so it don't count! but a very small car indeed, like a clown car.

lol. that's a lot of people in a small vehicle, scotty.

well i cursed the entire time when we packed in the prix. i was like the rules are.. parts of this vehicle's interior is plastic, it will break. so please keep limbs and ass AWAY from door handles, window switches, door panels, consoles, and for the love of god do not push on my seat or i will kick everyone out.

so after my rules speech they decided to just lap up and be uncomfortable, i was like yeahhhhhhh that's right

Grand Prix Sub-frame, Grand Prix transmission, 15 bags of salt, 32" CRT TV (175lbs on the passenger seat), and many boxes with multiple trips when I moved a few years ago. Future trip: 14ft trailer with 3 antique refrigerators, grandfather clock, old Cabinet style TV. Transmission will be beefed up a little for that trip.
This was with the Honda, but 3800 engine, Grand Prix transmission, Honda F22B1 engine, 17CU FT lawn trailer (on trunk and roof), large sandblasting cabinet (roof), 50" TV in box standing up (had to remove front passenger and back seat for that one), 12ft metal shelving, 25 2x4's, 4x8 sheets of plywood, 8 plastic shelf sets, large office safe, and office chair. BlackFriday I get a little nuts and load it up. Tie down straps are a must. In the latest Honda trip after a Grand Prix parts buy: set of seats, front bumper, radiator, F+R sway bars, trailing arms, headlights, and fuel pump.

I think we all need a pickup for our next vehicle, lol.

Pretty sure exceeding 1000lbs voids the warranty if you've got it

    Three trips I remember:

    • Fullsize electronic keyboard + 4 passengers.
    • 2 full drumsets.
    • Mini fridge, microwave, two servers, 22" monitor, three packed rubbermaid containers, office chair, rolley chair mat, 13" television, 12" djembe, huge duffel bag, 3 backpacks, big stack of clothing, 3 pillows, a comforter, printer, laptop, guitar, tent, few handles of booze, case of beer, couple bags of groceries, folding chair, first aid kit, oxy-acetylene torch, mini air compressor, and my Tetris certification.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

The hillbilly hauler also helps other drivers practice a safe following distance lol
And can you imagine having to defend yourself in court with a 4 wheeler on top of your car?
If we make eye contact, especially at a red light, we are racing pal!

Wasn't alot of stuff but I aired up the tires and filled up the gas tank, then me and the gf and a couple suitcases drove to Columbus and picked up an f4i motor, drove down to cinci to my moms for a day, then drove to indy and got to this side of indy and the gas light came on, calculated 29.29 mpg in a stock gtp with fenderwell intake and 224k miles. I have pulled out jetski many times and will be hauling a motorcycle trailer with my f4i and a bunch of tools and 3 spare f4i motors. and as much household stuff as i can fit in and on it for about 1000 miles when i move to FL....
