its a 97 grand prix with less tha 100k on it. there is still a lot that needs to be fixed but i got a huge dent in the lest. 6.5 alpine speakers, magnaflow mufflers, chrome exhaust tips, digital volt meeter, ls rearview mirror with compas and temp, lower grills, ventshades, headlight covers, engine and trans spacers, voltage booster, steering wheel control interface, GMPP front and rear sway bars with polly endlinks, strut tower braces, HID kit, vogtland springs, anti pogo washers, kyb strut plates, gr2 struts, and trailing arms.

i got all of it on the car in one night. worked on from about 10pm to 6am to get it all done. Two days latter drove it 700 miles and holy s*** its not even the same car anymore, i hated the way it used to ride it was bumpy as all hell and bounced off evey little bump in the road. now its like driving a new car. i ran into a little problem doing all the work and was wondering how bad it might be. the driver side rear strut tower is rusted through, i can almost put my hand into the trunk. the rockers are rusted bad too. its been driving in cleveland weather since 97. think it woud still be worth putting money into this car or just leave it as is and run it too the ground??

damn ODOT. had a jackstand go through my rocker panels this spring. i wasn't happy. i wouldn't put money into fixing things you can't see. when it rusts through, i'd think about fixing a few of the body panels, but there's nothing against a few performance mods or a nice set of wheels before car cancer gets it. and some preventative maintenance for the mechanical pieces. it's really your plans for it's future. resell value would be low, but if you don't ever plan on getting rid of it, your checkbook is the limit.

and holy sh!t, you did all that in a night? i'm impressed

Hit any harsh rusty areas you see with Por-15. It'll stop the rust in its tracks.

its not just a little rust. i can almost put my hand in the trunk. i know where i can get the top of the strut tower cut off a good car at and i know a few people who can weld it up for me cheap. i just dont know if it would be worth it of not

It's only worth what you make it really. If you love the car enough and want it to last long enough, you'll have it done. Of course that's entirely up to you.
