Save your money for a little while. In the meantime, spend your time looking over your car, check the plugs and wires, fluids, air filter, battery cables, belts, hoses, clamps...yada yada. Make a list of things you need/want in that order. Price out your options, get opinions from the folks here, and just do one thing at a time.
In between all of that, do simple, basically free things. Like detail the engine bay, clean any rust off the rotors, remove the seats and shampoo the carpets, detail the car inside and out. These things will make you feel good while you save for the next maintenance part or mod. Just my 2 cents on the matter.
Modding your car is an awesome, fun hobby. However taking care of your car, and making sure you address all the basic, routine maintenance issues speaks volumes more about a car guy in my book.
