I'd say take cash and offer $3,400 for it. You'd be surprised how much people are willing to negotiate when you have cash in hand.

If this one is truly clean and not ragged on then I would go for it. Sure, you may find one w/ less miles on it but who's to say that that smaller amount of mileage wasn't 60K miles worth of flogging and lack of maintenance? As long as it has been maintained all it's life then I wouldn't quetion buying a higher mileage car. Just be smart about it and check it over real good, drive it, etc... Check for the normal wear items in these cars (suspension, transmission, etc.). Maybe pull a carfax on it as well.
