    I would think it would be a good thing. I hear of more transmission troubles out of these vehicles than anything else, so that would be my area of concern, though its not like they are horrible trannys, but it would be good to have that covered.

    My question would be, where do you have to take it to have it repaired? If the tranny went out, is it something you could have Trannyman repair? Or are you limited to a few select shops?

    I believe I'm allowed to choose the shop. I read a pretty good overview of buying used car warranties a little while ago. The dealer said he'd be glad to give me a few days to think about. I'll probably go in after the holiday weekend.
