We all know that the 98-02 GPs are pretty much interchangeable. The 1997 and 2003 model years deviated enough to just piss you off. Which year do you think is the worst red-headed step-child?

I needed to replace the headliner in my 97SE. I found an 03 that was immaculate. Come to find out that they put all kinds of bracing in the headline and all the top trim pieces. So I not only had to replace the headliner, I had to spend another $75 bucks to get all the trim pieces. I also like how the kick panel in all the 98-03 models still have the hole for the tire pressure reset button.

the pillars are different on 03's, that might have something to do with the headliner

Jenny, The '99 Silvermist GTP. With the mod's that matter.
I would rather lose by a mile because I built my own car, than lose by an inch, because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book.

i hate my 97 but dont have an 03 to compare it to ....the 97 has alot of unnecessary vacuum components and not to mention the tree on the blower is dumb too. 97 also has the poor airbox design and coolant bottle not on the pass side strut tower.

so i would say i dislike the 97 the most.
