I like to homebrew, when my kegs are empty or I need a change I go with:
    1. Arrogant Bastard Ale
    2. Pyramid Apricot Ale
    3. Alaskan Amber
I like my strong beers. The winter seasonal brews are FTW. Coors, Really? I didn’t realize so many people liked drinking flavored water.

    1. Wild Blue - Blueberry Lager. One of the stouter lagers around that's easily attainable. 4 of them and I'm feelin' pretty damn good.
    2. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.
    3. Blue Moon with lots o' orange.
    4. Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat with lots o' orange as well. Reminds me of fruity pebbles.
2005 GTP - AL 605's gapped at .055", SD headers, WAI with 9" cone air filter, 180 degree t-stat, green coolant, otherwise stock.

I'm happy to drink a crappy beer when there's nothing else around and it's free... but to call Coors Light, Blue Moon, or (you are soulless, btw) Natty Ice your favorite beer? What are you? WHAT ARE YOU?

Also, adding fruit to your beer makes it a cocktail.

Lol... I drink Coors Light as my budget beer when I consume large quantities. Otherwise I drink else other beers, and I'm always open for new stuff.

Bus Light, Miller Light, Coors Light, etc are incredibly overpriced. How is that a budget beer?

Cause no way in hell am I drinkin PBR. And 18 bucks for a 30 pack is considered cheap compared to 24 Shiner Blacks @ 6.50 a 6 pack. Budget beer.

The best budget beer you can get is if you can make it yourself. Cheap and good. If you mess up a batch, drink it anyway, it will still be better than the macro brews.

I've actually considered doing it myself. But I don't have the patience for it. I want beer nao!

Just start a batch now! The sooner you do the sooner you get to drink it! See the idea is to make a good size batch that will last you until your new brew is ready. Then the cycle repeats itself. So you will only have to undergo the wait for the first batch. You can drink your Coors until then easy.

Maybe, but the initial investment is killer.
In PA, a 30 pack of Milwaukee Classic is $9.95.
In the spectrum of tasty beer, a 24 pack of Lions Head is $14 ($11 if you're in Northern PA, around Wilks-Barre).
A 30-pack of Coors Light is $23 here. About $20 starts the bidding on 24-packs of real beers (that aren't Lions Head). Yay tax!
