    The only car wash my car has ever seen are the ones with the bays with the pressure washers and ****, I don't trust those drive through car washes.

    I had the tires changed on my wife's Beetle, and took it to the car wash after picking it up. The car wash managed to do the same thing to one of her brand new tires, only on hte front. It came out the other side flat with a huge gash.

    They pulled the "aftermarket" card there, too. Stock wheels, stock size tires, just not the OEM tires. I got pissed, parked the car right at the exit, and refused to move it until roadside assistance came and towed it back to the tire shop. Took an hour for the tow truck to get there. He called a cop in the mean time, but the officer told him he wasn't making me destroy a rim because of his poor equipment maintenance.

    Road hazard warranty covered the tire, and I got the satisfaction of knowing that I cost him at least the $100 the tire was originally.
