I'm experiencing a very rough spell in life. Struggling badly financially, I just can't make ends meet no matter how hard I try. I am failing miserably. And then work. Work is so slow, I need to look elsewhere for a new job....I know I need to, but I don't want to. I have this huge guilt hanging over my head just thinking about leaving here. Which is making me a nervous and sick mess.
I guess I should be lucky that they don't lay me off and they let me keep working. When I was gone for a week I figured I would have a lot to catch up on...nope. I had nothing. I'm lucky if I have enough work to last me 3 hours a day. I waste a lot of time... Which I feel awful about as well. I dislike trying to look busy and wasting their money when I have nothing to do...but I need the paycheck bad.

I just don't know what to do. I need a glass globe to rub and tell me the easy way.
    *sighs*

Sorry about bringing personal issues here guys.

D go here and check him out. His class is amazing. We took it right around 2 years ago and we are not debt free yet, but enough to where my wife can now stay home. You may not like the things he says, but it helps. Trust me.

Danielle don't be afraid to put your personal problems here. We're here to talk with one another and help.

And the class might be helpful, my grandmother and me took that dave ramsey class once upon a time as well, but we never did apply it. Maybe you can make use of it. All I remember is the guy was funny and kept saying "but I'm not broke anymore..."

    Thanks guys.

Koscoe, I've been told about that class a lot and I need to seriously look into it. I hate to ask for help financially and thought I could turn it around, but I was wrong.

He put a 2nd offer on it today. I'm just nervous and hope we get it. It's not my financials going to the house, but it is causing some stress.
Mostly just work and being broke.

I feel your pain on that one. My rent is cheap but when you only work part time and management doesn't have enough sense to fire dead weight, your hours suffer

Just take it one day at a time Danielle. Life will take you where you need to go, when one door clothes another opens.
But I'm in the same boat, not so much financial but more, job, school, and career wise. School ain't working that's for damn sure.

Well if you get it should totally get a pic of your car in front of the barn for us..... if its stable enough maybe in the entrance of the barn... would hate to get the picture with your car crushed so first idea is desirable lol

It's stable enough I could sneak car in for some pictures. It's not falling over yet, just very drafty I guess you could say lol. Not the prettiest but I think its a cool looking backdrop.

Thanks Brandon. I am so glad I am done with school. Hang in there, it'll be worth it in the end.

I'm done with high school, I'm in year 2 in college. I hate it. It was like a very slow onset of realizing that I don't like it though. Honestly I miss high school, it was easy, I thought I had it all figured out and things would go according to plan and just come to me. But here I am facing the music and still don't have a damn clue.

It's not my financials. My name will be nowhere on the house. It's all Lee's money. I'll help with stuff if I can, but mortgage and all that is his deal.

Adrenaline is a *****. I hate the aftereffects of it. But almost sliding sideways down the side of a house on the top of a 28' extension ladder is less desirable than the almost puking aftereffects of adrenaline.

if you didnt hit the ground and bounce back up a few feet, you did it wrong, oh, also i was out cold for about 5 minutes, and was black and blue up and down the whole side of my body, the ladder kicked out from a second story window, i rode it all the way down. and KA BOOM!

When I did carpentry, I often wondered if it would be better to hold on and arc to the ground or just let go.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

i had no choice, it went down fast, thin black ice under the ladder feet. good thing i don't remember much. other then the pain afterwards. i was told how far i bounced, and how long i was out for. all i remember was the sound of the ladder kicking out, (the top dragging the down the side of the house) then a bright orange flash, and then a few poeple standing around asking...you ok? you ok? lol

That's exactly what I want people to ask me after a concussion. Am I ok? You tell me, I wasn't there for it!

You don't have to get knocked out to have a concussion.

I got sucker punched right above teh eye once. I remained conscious, but was sick and had a horrible headache.

I've had several concussions and not one of them have I been knocked out.
