I made ginger snap cookies.

Got tricked into going to a meeting at work today....which turned into a meeting about me getting a promotion to manager in training. I have a big meeting Thursday. Go out of town this weekend and return Monday night late for personal vacation. Turn around and leave Tuesday morning for another meeting in Illinois and get back Wednesday. Oh and Lee has started the house buying deal. So its only Tuesday and we've accepted a offer on a house and I got a promotion. Phew.


Can this week get any better? Yes, but not until I'm sitting in Louisville with a cold beverage in my hot little hand.

Yes. It was 1 year ago last weekend that my hours got cut and I thought the world was ending. If you would have asked me then were I thought I'd be, I would have never imagined it being were I am now.
I'm realizing that I'm pretty darn blessed and have a lot to be thankful for.

i found a great use for my old harmonic balancer, bolt, and a piece of PVC pipe with end cap i had laying around.

And today, I went back to the eye doc to make sure my contacts were fine and they were etc etc. Go to purchase (mind you I've already shopped around, it's $20 a box and gotta have one for each eye which comes to $160) and she's like let's see... years supply *clickity click* I said hold on now, I'm thinkin more like the 90 day supply. She said well let me see what insurance does for you. *clickity click* For a year's supply it comes to $9, SHIIIIIIT let me give you that debit card before you change your mind lol!

So. I was thinking cam for the fall piece and transmission parts for base and the top part for the shade I'll just draw out and show u

for the top i was thinking of trying to get my hands on some of these from people's blown transmissions

and tack weld the circle pieces in the above picture together and then put them on something dome shaped and rubber hammer into the shape of a lamp shade. of course there would be small holes in the lamp shade but i think it'd look good and be pretty sweet.

Maybe if someone has this **** laying around ill give you some shipping money......and.......ill take em for free

that would be cool to see a build on. even tho it will take half a day to weld up. ask bill he may have what your looking for.
