exactly. thats why pushing in will crack the ice and free it. ( most car doors will move a bit when pushed)
ive busted plenty of handles in the past. freezing rain sucks. live and learn.
You want a better tip for a frozen lock? Rubbing alcohol on the key. The alcohol melts the ice and evaporates the water. And you don't have to worry about the possibility of accidentally damaging the chip in a PK3 key.
yep yep lol. this will be fun times ha
edit: who carries rubbing alcohol with them?
some women do...
If you are at your house you should have some in the medicine cabinet.
Brandon, put some Vaseline on the rubber part of door seals, it seemed to help mine a bit last year from sticking quiet as bad.
I bet Brandon definitely has some vaseline in his medicine cabinet.
lmfao!!
Where is the damn like button when you need it..... :th_thumb-up:
haha!
So so many jokes about this I could do this all night lol. Im trying not to laugh to hard
Any bets on when Thompsju will be banned?
I should have taken my own advice to Brandon. My door was froze shut this morning. I hadn't gotten that far yet in my winter prep.
What's wrong with you people.. Brandon doesn't use vasoline to lube things up. Remember the coolant elbows?
Crisco!
Not a bad idea to get a thing of lock de-icer and keep it in your coat pocket. Before I had a garage, that's what I used to do. That saves the vaseline for more fun applications.
Well, it really doesn't, because they are different issues. I just wanted to say that...
