Damn^^^ is it still liveable or to much damage
yup very fix able lol. house got re wired, central a/c installed. there was very little structural damage. they did have to sand blast all the wood framing, then paint it with a sealer that kills the smoke smell.
new kitchen from the ground up, we had them move the one wall 3 feet further back to make the kitchen bigger too. new bath room too. pretty much re furbished the whole house.
funny part is my parents bought the house in 63 for like 16,000 bucks. my mom sold it for 300,000 10 years ago. insurance paid for the house to be fixed, so she made out ok in the end.
we did live in a "after disaster trailer" in the drive way for well over 6 months maybe closer to a year. that was also covered by insurance.
well at least it worked out for the better after words.....so she doesnt live there anymore?
nope, sold it. it was a bad few years, my dad died, then the house burned up, the cat got ran over, then my grand mother died.
she was all alone in the house and said f it, im moving to south NJ, she got a nice house in a retirement community, got the house for 60 or 70. lived there for 6 years or so, fixed it up some over that time, then sold that place for 160,000, bam made more money lol
her accountant talked her in to getting an apartment, as its cheaper in the end really, being you dont pay for repairs to the property. something goes wrong, she calls the super up, they come unclog drains, fix a/c units, hot water heaters all that crap. live in handy men on site 24/7.
Died my hair purple.
Yippy-ki-yay mutherf*ckas :p
The fuk^
lol sorry. I got excited. I guess that's frowned upon :D
Looked at another house tonight. This makes 2 within 2 weeks which is a lot for us.
I loved the first one, Lee hated it.
I hated this one tonight, and Lee seems to like it.
I'm really starting to hate this house crap. Just buy some ground and build a new one already. Because we clearly can't find one that makes us both happy.

Recovering from having my wisdom teeth pulled. God I want a burger right now!
might be building a deck this weekend..
My 2yo niece is moving in with me and nieces, I'm told, live on a more-or-less strict diet of television. So, I went out at and bought a convertor box at midnight with beer and hooked up cables running to an antenna. Picks up 19 good channels, at least one of which appears to be only cartoons. I think my niece owes me a drink.
Yea I know everyone is telling me whatever I do avoid getting dry sockets. So far so good. The pain is bearable considering I've been waiting about 3 months in pain for them to come out this is nothing. Actually it was 5 teeth, one was just a root that the tooth broke off years ago that I had done at the same time. God I can't stop thinking about actually food lol.
I've always liked these.

Sounds kinda like my dad. I was like 2 at the time so 1990ish. There was a huge ice storm, our power was out so my mom took me to my grandparents house to stay. Well my dad was a tree trimmer, and was out on emergency calls. Well that night he came home like wasted out of his gourd. Lit a candle... passed out... knocked it over with his arm (has a burn mark still) and the rest is toast. It used to be a little apartment on top of a general store in a tiny Kansas town. The only thing that I have left from before the fire is two stuffed animals. Squeaky a red mouse, and Ralph a dog with a badass coat.
fire really does just take everything. even if its not burnt up, it will stink for ever.
at least you got your dad and a few toys back, could have been way worse.
when ever im looking back at this time in my life, i know im lucky to be here still, i dodged a huge ass bullet.
and to think i walked home cause i was to drunk to drive, ( at 20, your never to drunk) thought i was doing the right thing, then torch the house inadvertently.
Badass lol. I'm not tempted to try that yet lol.
You have to see this^^^^^
