Got a letter from the Dr concerning my ct scan from kidney stone...just 2 small stones remain but they found something else they want me to be seen for. Oh joy :(:confused:
And Lee's grandpa is in hospital and not doing well at all. And he is stuck at work and having trouble finding someone to relieve him tonight. I told him to screw them and leave short handed. Others have left for far less important things than a family member dying.
Had the same ct scan, D. Surprisingly they didn't go low enough to see renal (stupid them, they did end up ordering another though) and they said I had scattered lymph nodes. Whatever that means. Anyhow, that got me two very painful shots lol
But..did dad's christmas tonight and of course yall remember my pea coat being stolen out of the car. Well he bought me another really nice peat coat. I was so thrilled to get me a nice coat again! And then he got me this...

If a company cant handle that then they are sh** and ain't worth working for.
Place I used to work for gave a guy a hard time about leaving early because his son had a problem at school and was going to have to go to the hospital. The GM actually asked him "What's more important? Your job or your kid?"
The guy told him off and walked out the door.
The GM was a major dick. His son was close to my age and sometimes came in and worked with us. He told me how much he hated his dad and didn't even want to sit at the same dinner table with him.
Damn that sucks... But if you remember, when my grandmom went in the hospital my manager told me show up or get wrote up. I was like well you gotta understand this, this is my grandmother, shes sick, and I'm not leaving her. So I'll see you when I see ya.
Oddly though she's been extremely nice to me lately, today she even told me of someone she knew who had a 4bedroom house and was renting out rooms. I was like thankssss?

My fiancee just made a curry stew for a family that lost their home for the holidays when a drunk driver came crashing through their living room. They've been staying at comfort inn & suites where she works for about a week now and we had to do something for them to make their holidays better and the mom (who is a single mom of two daughters btw) was in tears when courtney told her she'd use her hard earned money to make them a home cooked meal for christmas. Its a tragic thing to hear that someone has lost their home, especially this time of year ;(
stumbled across this show from 2000. it still stands the test of time if you ask me, and you tube has full episodes, i know what ill be watching for a while.
