normally i would never say to do this, but that place is really fvcked up. ( well the manager is anyways) and when she calls, tell her the truth, your a 2 faced pos, and im not dealing with you or your drama anymore.
Well I've always been taught NEVER to do that. Always leave yourself a 2 week notice to make it look better on your part because you never know if it comes back and bites you.
But I'll be completely honest, when I leave I'm telling her off one way or another, I may just wait till the last shift or somethin like that. Or like you said just call her and lower the boom on her.
However if you think it's the right thing to do to just haul off on her and quit. By all means I have so many ways in my head to make a grand exit and let her know what a two faced back stabbing evil insensitive pathetic pos she is. :D God that felt good just typing it. Mmmmmm :th_eyebrows:

i would think if you gave this pos notice, she would just tell you to not come back, then your out of work till the other job kicks in.
giving notice is always the thing to do.

You have a point. I mean I can do both. I can give her notice and give her a piece of my mind. When depends on her response to the first. lol
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
you can always not ever put this job on a resume, like it was bad dream. and move on.
i dont think id list this place as a past employer ever, cant trust her word for crap.
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
Well if that's the case I don't want the first job I had for 2 years on a resume either. If they ever called him it wouldn't be the best story either. If employers call previous jobs what can and cant they legally do?
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
That's the basics... google it ... you know you are gonna.
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
they can call up and ask how your performance was, what terms you left on, and so on.
if its a on the books job, they can search your ss # and find where you worked in the past. if they care enough to do so. most dont. unless the job calls for a full back ground check.
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
Cause I googled it and she can say anything she wants. Then you can sue for libel etc etc.
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
Some employers will say if you are or are not acceptable for rehire. Beyond that most fear being sued.
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
As for the job - if a future employer is going to call and get told you suck, don't give notice. You need to give someone permission to check up on you.
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
Woh what? Don't give a 2 weeks notice if you know the ***** would lie on you?
Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
Yeah. "2-weeks notice" is a courtesy provided by the employee to the employer in exchange for a favorable report if a future employer calls. If you don't want to let a future employer call them, then don't bother. Just work right up to the minute you want to quit. Unless you're looking for unemployment - then giving them reasons to fire you is helpful.
