good read about a autozone customer losing his fvcking mind.
AutoZone Customer Takes Matters Into His Own Hands After 45 Minutes On Hold
OMG, so awesome.
AutoZone is full of idiots. When I call them (my last resort) the phone rings 20 times before they answer. When I am at the store, they aren't even helping anyone and I hear the phone ring 20 times before they answer. LAZY and idiotic.
I have never gotten the wrong part from any store, other than AutoZone. Once I needed a rear main seal for my Stealth. The only reason I got it there is because they were the only ones who could get me a flywheel. I get home and pull my old seal out, try to put the new one in and? Its not fitting.
After cussing for a minute I grab the box, the dumbass gave me a rear main for a 5.0 Ford. I made sure to mess the seal up a little more before I took it back and made them give me the right one. There have been a few other times I have personally been given wrong parts by them, and I know others who have as well.
as a rule of thumb, i always try to take the old part in with me, with my last truck it was a 2500 HD, so its all heavy duty, everything's larger.
even as im looking at the pc with the guy, loading the info, he'd come out with a part that didnt match. and then it would take 3 more times to find the right one. happened to may times.
Scotty when it comes to heavy duty trucks there usually at least three different parts that could fit that vehicle . It's hit and miss . It's more or less the manufacturers that cause this . At least that's what I've experienced working at napa
And as winter saw, bwd lists the wrong maf for an 04 grand prix.
yoga pants. yoga pants EVERYWHERE.
exactly why i always tried to bring in the old part, to match it.
my friend had a 86 Chevy dump truck, none of the parts we picked up would ever fit, it was a 3500 with a mason dump.
then it needed a fuel pump, not one store had the right one. with my tail between my legs, i went to the dealer, with the vin# and found out this truck was supposed to be a camper, not a dump truck, and thats why none of the parts fit, and believe it or not it was heaver duty then the regular 3500 of its day. then the guys says and we have the pump in stock.....im like really? yes sir, and its 350.00 bucks. just great lol
the really nice part about napa is they can search a vin # to narrow down the parts. and like they say, not all parts stores are created equal, napa 90% of the time is a much better experience, but they do charge more for just about everything, but usually the parts are of better quality.
Drop your AAA card on the counter at Napa for 7% off, and their prices are getting much more competitive lately. I'm using them for much more stuff.
Cancer is not fun. Neither are cryptic jokes about it regarding your shoe size and the time it takes to do your hair. Isn't that kind of contrary to the point of cancer AWARENESS?
Throat punches for everyone.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as such soft-headed broads are sycophantically opening their mouths and broadcasting their clueless missives to the world once again despite their lack of library cards and sense of cohesive thought.
Sometimes having a camera in the center console comes in handy... lolol
