I know. It feels REALLY good to think that, but I don't wanna rush it. Because Mike's intention was to leave the house to Robert. That was his wish. Well namely to keep his low down brothers from getting it and selling it. But yeah.
But I also know that my uncle is not in the best health and he still smokes like a freight train, his day is coming eventually. It's just truth. And I don't want a repeat scenario with the deed.
BTW one brother and one of the brother's son still owns a piece of the house so I'd have to fight them eventually. Legally of course.

Yeah I hope things work out too. I mean... I wouldn't be PAYING shiit on my own as long as he's still alive. And best believe I'm gonna collect mr. creepy's rent across the hall lol.
we asked them to sign over their portions. all the other brothers did. but one would, but he died before he signed, his son wouldnt sign. and dudes a preacher lol wtf.
and the other brother is just a low down thieving bastard who wants to sell. so yeah he just wants $.
if we get it refinanced it will be my goal to legally hit them up for cash or their portion of the deed. especially if I end up on the deed.

your in the middle of legal hell. and thats going light on you. you really need a lawyer.
first and foremost is getting the bank paid, or a new loan in place to secure the property. if that can be done you can buy the family out as well too. use the loan to pay them off. this only works if the house is worth more then whats owed and buy outs vs the homes real value. you dont want a mortgage thats more then the house is worth.
a lawyer is the best way to go, but they cost money. sadly they deal with crap like this all the time. people die all the time with out their affairs in order. family drops the ball, and the banks knocking on your door.
That's what's happened. As of yet my name is no where near the deed and my uncle is trying to fix it by going to court Wednesday to get the house from the bank; it really was mis-communication and they should not have foreclosed. The good news is, the house is worth way more than what's owed. What's owed is like the price of a car. What it's worth is near 6 figures.
Sooo...yeah. Idk. When the ball gets in my court, I'll have to get a lawyer to fix it then. Till then, it's my uncle's monkey to deal with. The other two on the house aren't gonna do anything. They're dormant. Uncle owns majority. The important thing right now here and today is to save the house. That's all I care about.
man, this is the time everyone of them should be pulling together to save the place then.
you cant sell it if you let the bank take it for what 30 grand or so, f that.

LOL! The ONLY person interested in saving the house is me (but I'm just a tenant and a family member at this point) and my uncle. So he's the only one who can save it.
It's like 22k owed. Not much. And then there are my deceased uncle's hospital bills/cc debt that's leined against it. So yeah.
Point is, I hope uncle can save it on Wednesday.

well still recovering, my immune system is trying to shut down. i need to pay bills so against the doc im working lol but they gave me somehting with a mix of caffiene and codien in it.
