Why does supplying a house with appliances have to be so darn expensive. Even with used stuff, still looking at over $500
when i re did my kitchen in my old house, did it myself, with some help, it cost 7,000. like gutted to the studs redone. 3,000 of that was for the big stuff like refrigerator, stove, sink, faucet,dish washer. it adds up fast.
It's bf's brothers house. Him and his wife bought a house, so thinking of renting the old house. But a good majority of appliances go bye bye. Could probably buy a few things as stuff in new house will be used instead. But that doesn't include fridge, washer/dryer, garage opener. Only thing that stays is stove. Microwave could probably be bought to stay, along with a garage opener. But gawd dang. I'm not made of money.
At least GP would get to snuggle inside at night :D

I'd rather not rent appliances. Bf wouldn't allow it if I had to guess. And the brother paid for and installed the openers, so they are his to take. Although I don't think they would work with his bigger door at new house.
And cl is being searched.
I have a feeling I'm getting my hopes up for nothing. Oh well. It's fun to "shop" and dream and spend money I don't have.

I had quite a day today.. a friend of mine came over early this morning and stayed with me all day, which helped. And then.. gma had surgery, all went well until the doc came out post-surgery and told us she almost didn't do the procedure because my gma's liver looks so bad, almost like sclerosis. So I'm absolutely terrified to see how the biopsy turns out :( idk what I'd do without her.
On a better note, I'm baby sitting my little brother at my new place. We're having movie night, and he seems really bothered by the fact my uncle died in this house lol. OH well.
