Eh, trunk is easy to break into.
once again your lucky, we had to build a ramp over a 2 foot retaining wall (on both sides of it) to get my friends explorer and his workers jimmy out of the driveway, cleared my car by inches. i was right in the middle and blocking the whole driveway lol then i got to drive 50 miles to my spare set of keys lol, that day sucked bad lol glad i can look back and joke about it.
and to think i have yet to put a hide a key box on my car. i had that with every other car i ever drove but this one, why is that? oh i got lazy i guess.
one day i locked my keys in the car while it was on lol, had to leave my underground parking, buzz up to my wife, have her let me in, then go get my spare...
I've got no spare key on this 05.. should really get one cut, but damn chip keys are expensive.
one day a friend locked the keys in the trunk, i made him pay the $35 to the tow truck driver to unlock my car lol

This is why I keep my "Valet" key (actual GM one that says VALET KEY) in my wallet. Its flat, no rubber head on it, so it fits in one of the CC slots and doesn't bulge out any. Hidden from most if they just look at my wallet, and always with me regardless. I have locked my keys in the car, but never the wallet too. I figure if I'm locking both in the car, I'm pantless/naked and have bigger problems than the fact that my keys are locked in the car lol.

When I had my G6, I had the doors open and wanted to start it but was a good distance away. So I just decided to use remote start. Hit the lock button, then started it. Totally forgot about it was locked, doors open and running. Put my purse and luggage in car and shut the door. As soon as I shut the door...oh s***, spare key is in my purse, along with the other keys. I was in Louisville at the time and unless there is a kid in the car, cops won't come unlock it. So, after calling home to have someone look up a phone number for me to get a locksmith which took about a half hour, finally got someone to come out. Waited on them for another hour. So the car sat there and ran for 1.5 hrs. I was getting kick a** mileage on a long road trip until that happened. Locksmith gave me a $10 off coupon for the next time. Luckily, there hasn't been another time. I couldn't put a hide-a key on the G6 cuz I couldnt find a place for one to stay.
I need to put one on the GP.
im thinking somewhere on top of the sub frame or inside it if possible.
my pick up, i had the tool box across the bed, so the key went under the bed lip under the box.
i locked my keys in my 03 when it was days old. i was at work, on long island. i had to call my dealership where i bought it from to get my key code, and then find a locksmith to cut the key. that was a pain in the ass of a day.
