I just woke up. Random GPF when still waking is amusing.
I had one HELL of a day at work. Let me go in order:
Sunday: There's a shift person B cannot work on saturday 1-7. I'm the 8-1. I said I can work all day, if you need me to. **Nobody said shiit else to me on Sunday or Monday. So...I assume I am not needed. I make plans to move out of my house saturday after 1pm. Great. Comcast is also coming out sunday morning. So I must move.
Tuesday (today): 7:30 this morning the full time who is also a shift manager texts me and says "oh yeah I forgot to tell you, you now work saturday 1-7 and you're coming in early today at 2pm." 0_0 my face. So I text back and said no I have made plans to move I can no longer work that shift. She says okay and switches it back, so now person B will be responsible for her shift, just like it was originally. She had no problem, I had no problem, things were good.
K all sounds good I'm in a good mood I'm cooking breakfast. THEN I get to work. My manager goes "as far as I'm concerned you're still working 1-7 and you're responsible for covering the shift." I say no I am not responsible for it, the full time already switched it back to the way it was, so person B is still responsible for her own shift. She wants to argue. Okay.... So I decide to be the bigger man and help HER out by calling every store in the Memphis area, called Southaven, MS, called everyone. No one can work. So I come back and say look, I am moving my house Saturday. To clarify, no one called me and confirmed with me that my shifts were changing this weekend therefore I never agreed to anything. I just want you to know I have called everyone, no one can work, and I'm telling you that I will be there 8-1 and person B is still responsible for her shift, I'm not going to be responsible for someone else's shift.
Well that nipped that in the ass. Now she's holding person B responsible like she should be. I'm just confused as to why it ever became my responsibility? I don't mind helpin folks out but damn call and ask if I am available.
And yeah, later on we had convos about removing person B from the picture and I made sure to clarify that I require x number of hours a week. Soo we shall see how this pans out.

The dumbass downstairs won't turn his TV down. So what am I doing? Dropping a 16" wheel from about 3 feet up. Repeatedly.
