Oh yeah. I used to have a pretty gnarly sciatica when I started that my chiro helped me kick in a couple months.
im pretty funny looking when out of whack too, my right shoulder hangs down, and my right hip is higher than the left, and my feet dont line up evenly when i lay down. im mess sometimes for sure.
then i twist my self and hear the loud pop and all is right in the universe again lol sometimes i look over at the gf and she has the look like i heard that, and omg!
My hips get out of wacky super easy. My neck issues are tmj related, so I have to gag myself and massage muscles at the back of my mouth. It's a fun time. I coulda laid there getting a massage for a lot longer than an hour, it felt good! It's amazing how all the joints are related in one way or another. I have a sciatic nerve in my butt that likes to flare up every couple weeks, but that's on Thursday's agenda. I'll have to take your guys advice and get started on a monthly regimen, cuz this pain stuff is getting old.
It works. For me anyway.
I was having horrid back spasms some years back. No one wanted to beleive me that its was muscle related and kept telling me to go see a chiropractor. I finally gave in and lo and behold, it didn't do sh!t. The only thing I liked was when he put the tens unit on my back and jacked it up on high.
I still remember he put it on my back and told me to tell him when it began to hurt. I kept laying there and he had to ask me if it hurt. I told him no and he was like, thats as high as it goes. LOL
a good chiropractor will always take x-rays, that way you see whats out of alignment. my neck had every vertebra cocked up and down, the shot with my mouth open, that disk was sideways, i was a mess. the guys like you DON'T have headaches or blurred vision?
when a disk slips out it pinches the nerve and can cause a muscle spasm.
and sometimes you get lucky and its just a pulled muscle.
those zap pads do loosen you up real good to, my guy gave you a short rub down and and off to cracking he went lol f'ed up part is he had to climb up on the table and kinda over me to crack my back, he was like 5 foot nothing.
the chiropractor's ive been to take their own x-rays, im not just trusting anyone. maybe its a jersey thing?
I've never had mine do an xray. She doesnt bend and crack either, does the low impact pressure gun. I like it better. She can barely touch me and tell what's wrong.
i didn't request jack, it was part of the first exam, cost like 300 bucks too. makes you feel better when they can show you what is wrong vs trying to explain it. and now they can see what needs to be done clearly. also rules out if you need surgery or something worse, covers his ass as well i guess.
...pressure gun? Why is that a scary phrase to me?
X rays are on a practice by practice basis. There is a chiro that requires x rays before he'll touch you in my area, but there are a lot that do not require them.
Pics?
Is it the electric doorstopper?

Yeah, that's what my chiro does. She's like 4'10" 95lbs, so she climbs up on me to get it. I still find it hilarious every time.
yesss! that nap was wonderful i feel so much better now.
and dammit my popping jaw (TMJ) is now hurting. so fml
