I voted for 2nd (swings) shift, but I've been 3rd (mids) shift since December. Tonight is my last night. I go to swings on Monday.

I work regular business hours (at least that's what I get paid for). I am an IT manager. Been thinking about getting a part time job at Advance autoparts, just to cure some bordem, get me out of the house and maybe a discount on some parts.
And yeah, sometimes I'm checking this site at work (but don't tell my boss).

I'm in charge of Southern Kansas, and Northern Oklahoma. There is 5 of us total up here in Kansas keeping the fort down.
We don't really have a set time when to start, we can start at 12 noon if we want to, just as long as all the accounts are taken care of and nobody runs out of ice, especially this time of the season. I almost always start my day out at 6:30am and get done around 3PM on average, but sometimes you have some service calls, one after another and have to work longer. Like today was a 12 hour day. I drove 315 miles today too, it was a whole lot of fun let me tell ya.

I'm a Field Service Tech for the OIL anf Gas Industry. I generally complete wells in several stages of there drilling process. Set Slips and land heads.
As for hours? Well i'm on call 24/7, I get 1 weekend (Sat, Sun) off a month otherwise i'm always on call. We cannot take off ANY holidays, we're on call then too. I work anywhere from 80-100 hours a week and a drive from job to job. The job could be 30 miles from me, or it could be 400 miles away. You never know until you get a call.
Starting Monday of this week i've drove 1,500 miles on my truck, i've been too West Texas twice this week. Just got back from Western OK a bit ago.
I'm a roll tender on a narrow web press at R.R. Donnelley.... which means i hang great big rolls of paper for printing books. 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off 7 to 7
I work the parts counter at Kansas City's largest GM/Over the road truck Dealer (Westfall-O'Dell Truck Sales).
Over the years I've worked every shift starting on graveyard in the warehouse, then 7 years of 2nd shift...then a couple years ago I finally graduated to the main parts retail counter.
Then when I get home, I'm usually in the garage working on my side projects with the superchargers, and other guys cars.
Parts seller by day, Green Bastard Inc by night

im a certified nurses aide at a psych facility workin graveyard shift and currently in school for respiratory therapy.
