ok, i keep hearing about this seafoam. its all over the internet (i know im late) but i just heard about it.
what im trying to figure out is mostly the pros/cons. and if anyone here has used it, and had ANY problems after using. i keep hearing it cleaned the motor, but ruined the spark plugs, or it cleaned the fuel delivery system, but ruined the fuel filter?
where is the best place to put it at? im not putting it through vac lines, so is it better to put in the gas tank, or in the oil add.
just trying to figure out rather to use this stuff or not.
im not trying to pay to get my spark plugs replaced because i cant do it myself and its not cheap!! lol
so, let me know what you guys think about this stuff. and if youve actually used it. i would appreciate it!!!!

btw,i have an 04 gp gtp comp g with 70k miles.

i also tried to search this topic here and it didnt come up. for some reason nothing really comes up for me when i search here lol. if this has already been talked about sorry. i honestly looked for it.

If you are scared of doing spark plugs, leave Seafoam at the store.

X2...after the seafoam treatment you're supposed to replace the sparks and fuel filter, and after you've driven it 100 miles you have to change the oil and oil filter. If you wait more than 200 miles to change the oil it'll trash your engine.

However, you can run it in your fuel to clean injectors...

I like it. I have used it with 0 problems.

Also look into AutoRX. THAT IS good stuff for sure. I would still use seafoam as a fuel treatment though.

Ok. Appreciate it. I might do it when I get ready to change my plugs anyway instead of doing it now.

seafoam is kinda ****ty. use it correctly but sometimes even when u use it the right way, it still ****s stuff up. i've seen that **** ruin cats, plugs, oil filters, kill gaskets and 1 case of blowin a motor. the idea of seafoam is great but the physical actions can be devastating. its says its o2 safe. yea thats horse ****.

I don't think you know what you are suppose to do after you seafoam or havn't done it because in the write-ups it says to change the oil after you seafoam and change your plugs/wires after it. Plus you raised a dead thread.... Not trying to offend you.

this thread is confusing me.. i have runsea foam in my brake booster line on all my vehicles, works miricles. gave my truck an extra 4 mpg. along wit new plugs and wires. but that was before the sea foam. ive never once had a problem with the stuff. just the price. although any oil additive ive heard does thin it out and you shouldnt run it for more than a few hundred miles with it in there... i that correct? but the fuel lines and filter and plugs are really that affected?

probably @ fuel lines/filter..yes...i would NOT run seafoam more than 100 miles in your crankcase.
