I'm down right impressed, besides the ****ty commercial for it, it is a real head turner and some serious power to boot.

Check out the 60-100 acceleration at 1:32 and how it just keep climbing like there is nothing holding it back.

YouTube - Go Go Kia Optima SX Turbo-2011

Can't wait to see what it puts out once a tuner gets hold of it.

Again why in the hell cant a domestic auto maker make something even close to that? Anything made by a domestic would cost a hell of a lot more. I will say Ive seen a few of these in town dont think Ive seen any turbos but nics looking cars tint and wheels would go a long long way on one.

BTW Hyuandi makes turbo sonatas too. 274 HP and 269 TQ from a Turbo 4??
Them are also twin scroll too!
Way to go Korea auto makers for making the domestics look like junk again!!!
    ^^^ SAD but TRUE

saw it in a magazine and was impressed by the numbers although i can't remember them at the moment.
Dual sunroof, paddle shifters, cool styled interior and exterior, turbocharged. Looks like an all around nice car.

It comes down to the tranny being geared for fuel mileage.

A tuner will come along and fix that.

Still shouldn't that 6 speed auto help out with the launch and acceleration quite a bit?

less gears = better 1/4 times. shifting all the time slows the car down.
