Most(not all) autozone folks know part numbers, and how to look them up on a computer. Oh, and maybe how to check/change a battery, and tell you what an error code means. Not much more I don't think. Have fun tomorrow though, we've been having some nice weather here too, it' been great.
LOL the Autozone around here is worthless. I walke din and asked for a supercharger gasket and they could find one in the computer? The guy said it's a rare thing to have on a Grand Prix and it's a special order deal through the dealer. I looked at the dude square in the eye and said, "You're a ****ing idiot, they only made like 100,000 GTP'S every year." he then said, "you know if you are going to treat me like that maybe you should go elsewhere." I responded with, "I cant help it if the manager of the store knows **** about cars and customers make you look stupid."
I then proceeded to walk out and go next door to Oreilys were I walked out with the part I needed. I decided to walk back to Autozone just to show the manager how rare the gasket was since Oreillys had it in stock.
I was asked to leave and not come back. I told them no worries, I'd rather go to a parts store that knows how to find parts and not feed me some BS cause of their incompetence. I walked out laughing....
Yes I'm a dick.
Good luck with the install man hope it goes smooth for ya.
