turbo 3800 yes?
my girl picked it up for me... ive always talked about wantin a fiero as a project.. her uncle had one that had been sitting covered up for years.. she mentioned possibly wanting to buy it.... he said take it and get it out of my yard. ive seen teh exterior before.. its yellow with body intact.. dunno bout the interior.. but it was fukcin free so i cant beat that deal.
im too poor for a turbo matt... prob L67 with a manual swap.
L67 is a prime candidate for a turbo and would make that car very quick to start with.
I meant just a stock L67.
Even with just headers, 1.95 RR's and a 3.4 would be quite fun.
nice. fieros are so light and yellow's about the best color they came in. i agree with ya on the nasty m90 build.
lambo kit it!
save the snail for the GP!
Year of the car? If it's an 88 and yellow I'll shoot you for gettin it for free. And if it's a GT or a Formula with t-tops I'll shoot you again just in case lol. Good luck with the car. I had 2 at one point but have just one right now as a parts car. Turboing a 3800 for a Fiero is almost pointless unless you abolutely want a ten second car and have the money to drop. An L67 is the most common swap in the car period and is pretty reasonable to do. With a moderate cam, headwork, and a 3.4 pulley with all other supporting my buddy ran consistent low 12s and I believe even dipped into 11.9 territory. I suggest joining Pennock's Fiero Forum at fiero.nl. It is a huge resource with worldwide members who help eachother out greatly. And if you have any questions I know quite a bit about the cars myself. Plus I have tons of parts if you need any. I had one for 4 years and went through a lot of trial and tribulation with the car. It was a blast and a beautiful car I still wish I owned today...
Well then that's a great score for you if it does have t-tops! People will pay pretty decent money for that chunk of the roof to be cutout! All Fieros when the fiberglass roof is removed have a hole in the metal roof support for a sunroof, but the t-tops are like gold. Tons of people will even go to the extent of cutting the metal T frame out and welding it into place on their Fiero. Sounds like you got a great deal man, we need some pics asap! Also the reason I ask the year is because in 88 GM finally got the car perfected. The suspension was completely redesigned and just the 88 engine cradle itself is a sought after piece for project builders. Also I ask whether its an 88 is because Yellow was a color only offered in 88 and is the rarest color of all with only around 1200 built in yellow of the 26,000 or so Fieros produced in 88. And T-tops were an production option in 88 and not just sent off from the dealer to be done like other model years. And with only around 1200 in 88 with t-tops, your car could be a diamond in the rough if it is all these factors!
I was gonna guess herpes
What I just heard from Lsick7 was if it has all those features... You could sell it for a good chunck of change![]()
