Yeah just to let you guys know...my tranny is acting up so i think im gunna be do for one before to long....that means the engine is going to have to come out...........''an xp cam'' ...yeah i know i said i was going to stay stock heads/cam...but i have a buyer lined up for my 1.9 roller rockers for 250.00 and have a 25.00 zzp coupon....plus i still have my stock rr's...so that means it will cost me 25.00 to get the cam from zzp.gotta do it fellas

Parker has come to the conclusion that the 105,000 miles on the car along with the mods in sig have caused a problem....


well this morning i got in my car and started it up to go to the bank....i pulled out of the driveway and noticed that it was slipping (or though it was)...so i drove it normal down the street got to a stop sign and pretty much floored it...it slipped all the way up to the rev limiter...i said to myself...wow...this has never happend before....got to the redlight...stopped the light then turned green...no go...lost all gears except for park...



The car is now sitting in the parking lot waiting to be towed home.
I knew that it was comming and figured it would be soon...but i didnt think it would be like this...i figured ya know lose 3rd or 4th..something like that...i was wrong...



Soooo....new cam new tranny with 3.69 gears intense input shaft 7/8's chain....this combo shuld be good into the high 11's low 12's all day....it's also good for 2600 out of my pocket...not counting the cam or any other gaskets that need to be replaced that i will be doing....like the oil pan gasket for instance...

ouch that sucks. were you trying to break things?? and i give up i cant mess with you after that wanna race now??? hehe j/p

trying? not really...just trying to get a better of an idea of what the tranny was doing so i could ask around and know what was actually wrong with my tranny before i put a new one in...or this one broke...thats y i floored it like that...so i could try to see what was going on....but it was after like 6 or 7 blocks of driving that it finially broke...o well **** happens lol...and better **** will happen as a result of this

LOL DONT BE DISSACURAGED...theres always going to be someone faster than you...and me...and the next guy....Just use this as encouragement to use you head to do what it takes to beat me one day...while i didnt make it to this point overnight it was rather quickly...but i consider myself lucky to be able to do this also.your time will come

HAHAHA dang i aint got nothing to say to that hope all goes well with the build and everything. let me know how hard it is to get a cam in and what all you need to do, i should be getting mine soon
